COVID-19 Updates

By Court Order, all visitors entering the Criminal, Civil or Juvenile courthouse will be required to:

  • Submit to a temperature check
    • If your temperature is 100.4 or higher or you refuse to submit to a temperature check, you will not be allowed in the building. If you’re not permitted into one of the courthouses, you may contact our office for further guidance at:
  • Wear a face-mask and/or face-shields while in the building
  • Exercise six feet social distancing
  • Comply with all markings and instructions

    • Passports (non-expedited applications) by appointment only call 407-665-4339
      • Notice: Processing time for regular passport service is 10-12 week and expedited is 4-6 weeks.  The State Department encourages residents to avoid non-essential travel due to COVID restrictions., visit the Department of State website travel.state.gov for more information.

Court Hearings (updated 9/2/2020):

  • You may review your record online for your scheduled date.

  • For Civil Court:
    • All contested civil family cases appearances are continued until further notice.
  • For Traffic Court:
    • Cases set before Judge Jerri L. Collins will be conducted in person. All other cases are being conducted via video conference until further notice.
    • For hearings scheduled Wednesdays or Thursdays, please contact Court Administration at the following link for any assistance on how to appear via video conference on Microsoft Teams https://flcourts18.org/teams-instructions/
  • For Criminal Court:
    • In-custody cases are being conducted via video conference until further notice. Please visit the 18th Judicial Circuit website for more information.
