Clerk's Office starts Passport Service at Records Center Location on Tuesday, June 6th
Sanford, FL—Seminole County Clerk and Comptroller Grant Maloy announced today the launch date of the new Passport Acceptance Facility: Tuesday, June 6th, at the Clerk’s Record Center at 1750 W. Lake Mary Blvd. Sanford.
“I am excited to offer this service to the deserving citizens of Seminole County. Up until today, if someone in Seminole County needed a new passport, they would have to drive to another county, or visit one of just two local post offices, of which neither had appointments available for over a month,” said Grant Maloy. “The Seminole County Clerk and Comptroller’s office is dedicated to providing the citizens with highest level of service.”
Clerk Maloy added “No appointment is necessary. Simply visit the Acceptance Facility between 8:30am and 3pm, sign in and work with one of our certified agents”.
The new passport center is located at the Seminole County Records Center, 1750 East Lake Mary Blvd., Sanford FL 32773.
Further information and updates will soon be posted on the Clerk website at www.seminoleclerk.org or call 407-665-4337.
This new addition to services provided follows other recent changes including; accepting credit and debit cards at all locations, launching a new web site, and improving the County’s investment portfolio which is estimated to generate an additional $3 million per year in interest for taxpayers.
