Court clerk joins a committee to trim child-support cheating

SANFORD - Seminole County Circuit Court Clerk Maryanne Morse will serve on a state committee to make better use of computers to enforce child-support orders.

The Child Support Enforcement Project, set up by the Legislature, will create a computer network for reporting child support activities and help identify delinquent cases.

The Florida Association of Court Clerks, the Clerks of the Circuit Court and the Florida Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services were charged with putting together the system. The committee was created to establish policies and provide guidance for the $8 million automated system.
