Clerk of the Month Award - December, 2003 - Debra Choyce

December 2003

December 2003 Clerk of the Month

Debra Choyce
Micrographics
Hire date: October 2, 1995

Debbie is one of the most efficient members in the Micrographics Department. When volunteers were solicited to help with Mekel (old film scanning and redaction process) in the Recording Department, she was the first to volunteer out of six; this allowed us to have two people do four-hour shifts daily instead of one person for eight hours – Team Player.

Her training and knowledge on the preparation of the Board of County Commissioners’ (BCC) files for filming has been outstanding. She was asked to step in and provide training on the scanners. Without hesitation, she stepped in and has provided valuable training to the new deputy clerks within the department.

Debbie is always willing to step in and go that extra mile. Her co-workers and supervisors applaud her for her continued support. When you think of Deputy Clerk of the Month, she fits the bill.
