Clerk of the Month Award - July, 2002 - Karen Blakely

July 2002

July 2002 Clerk of the Month

Karen Blakely
Domestic Relations
Hire date: October 26, 1998

Karen has become a very important part of the staff since transferring to Domestic Relations. She has worked at our front counter assisting the customers, being both courteous and helpful.

Karen currently processes the mail, posts all payments and answers the main telephone line. She is a master at handling numerous tasks simultaneously, maintaining a professional and helpful attitude to both co-workers and the public. Karen's level of productivity is rarely achieved by others. Karen is a very valued member of our staff and deserves the recognition of Deputy Clerk of the Month.

Michelle Klingman, Supervisor
Sharon Dunn, Assistant Supervisor

I do not work in the same department as Karen, but I have had many occasions to work with her. I have found Karen to be very organized, very efficient and able to work accurately with an amazing amount of interruptions.

Karen has always been willing to help and never seems to mind how much work I request of her. It is always nice to have a deputy clerk that is willing to help her co-workers, but how wonderful to have one who is so willing to help others outside her department as well.

Cecilia Ekern
Supervisor, Circuit Civil
