Clerk of the Month Award - August, 2002 - Denise Dudley

August 2002

August 2002 Clerk of the Month

Denise Dudley
County Finance
Hire date: June 16, 1997

Denise has been with County Finance for five years and has always shown her ability to work with little or no supervision. Denise can be counted on to do an outstanding job. She has the ability to quickly learn new tasks and take additional responsibilities without affecting her daily work.

Denise started in our accounts payable department, but when the opportunity arose for someone to move to the revenue department, she was the first to volunteer. She has been in the revenue department for approximately three years and in addition to her attention to detail, one of her most outstanding qualities is her ability to organize and prioritize her daily work. It is her responsibility to balance and post daily all Seminole County revenue, wire funds in and out of our bank accounts, and assist the County Finance Assistant Supervisor.

Denise has always been a team player in our department and has a great relationship with the outside departments. Whether she is speaking on the phone or to someone at the front window, she is very professional with the way she handles herself and the situation.

Denise is now training two clerks to do the revenue while she herself is in training for the possibility of becoming the new Assistant Finance Supervisor.

We are very grateful to have Denise in our department and think she needs to be formally recognized for her hard work and dedication to County Finance and the Clerk of the Circuit Court.
