Clerk of the Month Award - October, 2001 - Mary Stroupe

October 2001

October 2001 Clerk of the Month

Mary Stroupe
Circuit Civil
Hire date: July 26, 1999

Mary does an outstanding job and is an exceptional deputy clerk.

Mary has only been here for two years, but she has learned many of the duties for most areas in Circuit Civil. Once she has completed her work, she immediately jumps in to help wherever it is needed most. Mary is willing to file, docket, open new suits…it doesn’t matter. Show her what needs to be done and she goes for it.

She is well liked by her co-workers and the public. Mary is a perfectionist in her work and is always professional in the way she conducts herself.

We are very fortunate to have Mary in our department.

Ceil Ekern
Supervisor

Mary is our foreclosure clerk. The foreclosure area is a high stress level job. She is responsible for setting and conducting the foreclosure sales and issuing titles. She has to deal with attorneys, mortgage lenders and, of course, the people who are in danger of losing their homes.

Recently, Mary has had to deal with some personal problems. Her dedication to her job and co-workers keeps her coming to work. She is very deserving of this award.
